This driver is applicable for compact fluorescent lamp cable AC 170V-270V, 50Hz. CFL light circuit generate 15,000HZ. If we connect CFL directly to emergency light it destroy the electric ballast immediately.As a solution introduce bridge rectifier in between CFL light and emergency kit.Don't forget to introduct BA-139 Drode in bridge rectifier.
