This tawa is ideal to prepare chapatis, rotis, parathas, omelette, or sauteing, roasting, grilling, etc. Made from food-grade iron, this tawa is strong and durable. This tawa comes with a cool-touch wooden handle for safety and is compatible with gas stove. Care should be taken to use this tawa on a low flame while cooking on a gas stove. Before first use, clean the tawa using lemon and baking soda and apply a small amount of oil to the surface. Fry an onion before use to remove any carbon deposited on the surface of the tawa. Season the tawa as per your need. Never wash the tawa when it is hot. Use of harsh soap to clean the tawa should be avoided. If the tawa is too oily, use liquid soap and sponge to wash the tawa and wipe it dry with a cloth to prevent rusting.
