How to Grow Pumpkin from Seeds

1. Choose the Right Seeds

Select a good quality hybrid or organic pumpkin seed.

Pick a variety suitable for your climate (small, medium, or giant pumpkins).

2. Best Planting Season

Kharif Season (Rainy) : June–July

Summer Season : January–February

General Rule : Pumpkins love warm weather; avoid frost.

3. Soil Preparation

Pumpkins grow best in well-drained, fertile soil with pH 6.0–6.8.

Mix in compost or well-rotted manure before planting.

4. Sowing Seeds

Make small mounds (hills) about 1 meter apart.
