Physical Appearance

Flowers : The most striking feature is the massive, ball-shaped cluster of flowers (known as a "mophead"). While the image you're likely thinking of shows vibrant blue petals, these flowers can also be pink, purple, or white.

Foliage : The leaves are large, broad, and oval with distinctively serrated (toothed) edges. They are a deep, rich green and have a slightly leathery texture, providing a lush backdrop for the blooms.

Structure : It is a deciduous shrub that typically grows in a rounded, bushy shape, reaching heights of 3 to 6 feet, though some varieties can grow much larger.
