Katyayani Beauveria contains Beauveria bassiana, a fungus used to control a wide range of insect pests. Available as wettable powder and liquid, it’s known for its eco-friendly nature and effectiveness in pest management.

Mode of Action :  

Infection Process : Fungus spores contact the insect's skin, germinate, and penetrate the body. The fungus grows inside, depletes nutrients, and kills the insect in 7-10 days. No ingestion needed for infection.

Effective Against :  

Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Hemiptera, Hymenoptera, Diptera

Pests like borers, cutworms, root grubs, mealybugs, leaf hoppers, whiteflies, aphids, thrips, and pseudo weevils of banana.

Dosage & Application :  

Soil Application : Mix 3-5 kg with 200 kg organic manure for 1 acre, or 20 g with 1 kg manure for tree crops. Apply uniformly to moist soil.

Foliar Spray : Mix 20 g in 8 liters of water, spray 10 kg per hectare on foliage, targeting undersides of leaves in the evening.

Drip Irrigation : Mix 20 g per liter of water, filter, and incorporate into the soil through drip irrigation, preferably in early morning or late evening.
