Lijjat papad has been a staple in my home for over three decades. It is budget friendly within Rs 70 with a decent number of papads in a packet. The plain and the masala variants are delicious both when roasted and fried. The papad is crisp and goes well with sweet chutneys and pickles. The masala variant has a generous dose of pepper however if you like a non spicy papad, you should buy the plain one. Since I have been eating this papad since childhood, I have seen no change in quality and remains one of my most repeated purchases every month.
