Plumeria pudica, also known as White Frangipani or Bridal Bouquet, is a tropical plant native to Panama, Colombia, and Venezuela. It is a species of the Plumeria genus in the Apocynaceae family. This evergreen shrub can grow up to 5 meters high and has immaculate white flowers with arrow-shaped leaves. Unlike other Plumeria species, it does not have an aroma.

The Plumeria pudica is a popular horticultural plant due to its profuse blooming and relatively compact size. It is often cultivated for landscaping purposes in tropical and subtropical regions such as southern Texas, California, Florida, and the Pacific Islands. There are several common names for this plant including Bridal Bouquet, White Frangipani, Fiddle Leaf Plumeria, Wild Plumeria, Bonairian Oleander, Thai Champa (Urdu), Naag (cobra) Champa (Bengali), and நாவில்லா அரளி (“naavilla arali”) (Tamil).

In addition to its ornamental value, studies have been conducted on latex proteins from Plumeria pudica for potential use as a treatment for periodontitis and as an antioxidant (Oliveira et al., 2022).

The Plumeria pudica has a variegated leaved form commonly called Golden Arrow or Gilded Spoon. There is also a pink flowering hybrid produced in Thailand called Sri Supakorn or Pink pudica.
