Lightly press the seeds into the soil and mist with water to keep the surface moist but not soggy. Place the containers in a warm, sunny location (or under grow lights), ideally starting seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost or directly outdoors after frost danger has passed. Maintain warmth and light until germination occurs, usually in 10-14 days. Once the seedlings are a few inches tall and the weather is warm, transplant them outdoors in full sun.
