Shudh Online Alum stone has been used for a variety of health benefits for ages. Mainly potash alum is used to purify water, as an aftershave, strengthen teeth, glow the skin and as a mouth freshener.

1) AS AN AFTER SHAVE - Take some Fitkari or Turti stone and rub it all over the freshly shaved face when the skin is still wet. Used by barber to control bleeding from small shaving cuts and thus, preventing infection.

2) WATER PURIFICATION - When Alam stone / Fatkari Safed is added to water, then the pollutants tend to stick together and form heavy particles which gets settled down at the bottom of the container and the purified water can thus be strained out.

3) REDUCES BODY ODOR - Phitkari Alum stone for face can be applied directly to the perspiring areas as a Deodorant. It mixes up with sweat and stops the growth of bacteria. Powdered Potash alum can be used for treating canker sores.
