How to Grow Bottle Gourd from Seeds

1. Season / Best Time to Plant

Summer Crop : February – March

Rainy Season Crop : June – July

In mild winter regions, you can also sow in October–November.

2. Seed Preparation

Select fresh, disease-free seeds.

For faster germination, soak seeds in water for 12–24 hours before planting.

3. Soil Requirements

Well-drained, fertile loamy soil is best.

pH range : 6.0 – 7.5

Mix compost or cow dung manure into the soil before planting.

4. Sowing Method
