Thippili is one of the most widely used medicinal crops in India. It belongs to the genus of pepper and betel and is called "Piper langum"). Thippili is a perennial crop of the genus Kodi. Can grow up to two or three feet wide without growing too tall with lots of branches. Plants have firm roots. The flowers are very small and about two to five cm in size. The leaves are 5 to 9 cm long and 3 to 5 cm wide.
