*Kiss* (1969)- Throughout the fall and winter of 1969, Picasso experimented with a different iteration of the omnipresent topic of love, continuing to cover a complete arrangement of canvases with couples kissing. They are sometimes seen at full length, lying down and embracing. Picasso's kiss is erotic, sometimes predominating with genital sexuality, just like Gustav Klimt's famous Austrian Symbolism artist Gustav Klimt's Kiss. Because the male is fully clothed and the woman is naked, some speculate that this Kiss is a continuation of the "artist-and-model theme."
