*Landscape* (1972)- Picasso did not paint many landscapes. His reflection topic was not nature, but rather the surroundings, spectacle, and, most importantly, forms. When he portrays nature, it is a tamed version of nature. As shown in this Landscape from Mougins, he outlines her in black and subjugates her exuberance. Only the palm trees' and hillside's shapes are recognisable. The other motifs are a little more difficult to spot. The broad streaks of flowing paint, the brush-marks, and the transparency of layered layers are all in the treatment. To suggest the lines of force that give the composition its structure, dots, black and white spots, and zig-zag lines are interlaced.
