The Areca Palm gets its nickname, the Palm, because its long feathery fronds (leaves) arch upwards off of multiple reed like stems. Although the areca palm can grow as high as 30 feet outdoors, in interior locations, it tends to average only 6 to 7 feet.

Their stems are usually prickly and their glossy, green leaves have toothed edges. Rose flowers vary in size and shape. They burst with colours ranging from pastel pink, peach, and cream, to vibrant yellow, orange, and red. Many roses are fragrant, and some produce berry-like fruits called hips.

BOTANIC DESCRIPTION Bauhinia variegata is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree with a short bole and spreading crown, attaining a height of up to 15 m and diameter of 50 cm. In dry forests, the size is much smaller. The bark is light brownish grey, smooth to slightly fissured and scaly.

Bel Patra in English is known as Aegle marmelos, or more commonly called wood . Additionally, the plant produces bel fruits with a hard shell and a mildly tangy flavour. As per the Puranas and Vedas, Bel Patra has social, therapeutic, and cultural values.
