The Crossandra (firecracker) flower or tropical flame which is commonly called as 'Kanakambaram' for its beauty and colour. Its scientific name is Crossandra infundibuliformis. Firecracker flower is used to adorn hairdo. Crossandra is a genus of plants in the family Acanthaceae. especially Crossandra infundibuliformis, are cultivated for their brightly colored flowers. A great long-lasting color plant, crossandra can bloom almost nonstop all year long in the right conditions. They tend to grow best when they are planted in average, moist and well-drained soil, will tolerate sandy soil, loamy soil, clay soil and moist soil. Now open the seed packet on a white sheet of paper as while opening the seeds might fall, which are not visible to naked eyes. After preparing the soil, insert the seeds into the prepared Mixture of soil along with coco peat to half (0.5) inch of depth.
