Moong dal papad is a traditional Indian snack made from ground moong dal (split green gram) mixed with spices and herbs. The mixture is rolled out into thin sheets and sun-dried until crisp. When fried or roasted, these papads become crunchy and flavorful, perfect for snacking or accompanying meals. With their savory taste and crispy texture, moong dal papads are a beloved delicacy enjoyed across India.
Ingredients : Moong Dal Flour, Edible Common Salt, Papad Khar, Black Pepper, Asafoetida, Edible Vegetable Oil.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
TO ROAST : Roast for seconds over an open fire until ready.
TO MICROWAVE : Lightly brush both sides of the papad with vegetable oil. Place in the microwave and cover wih kitchen paper before cooking on full power for about 45 seconds until ready. (The Papad may require turning to ensure even cooking).
TO FRY : Heat 1-1.5 degree vegetable oil in a frying pan or dry fat fryer the oil is hot enough when a small piece of Papad added to it fries immediately. Fry each papad individually for 2-3 seconds. Remove from oil with tongs and drain on absorbent paper towels.
