Bahera (Thanni/Bhibitaki) is one among the most popular and widely used Ayurveda medicinal mix colloquially called as Thriphala (Three fruits). Bahera seeds have an oil content of 40%, whose fatty-acid methyl ester- Terminalia Bellerica is rich in protein (40 %) and oils (35 %), and is particularly high in the omega 3 essential fatty acid, linoleic acid.

Mulethi, or as it is more commonly known, licorice, is a popular herbal supplement. Mulethi root is also used to help the stomach and intestines digest food and receive the proper nutrients. This is done with Mulethi's ingredient of Glycyrrhizin.

How to take : Take equal quantities of Licorice root (Mulethi) powder, Long pepper (Pipli) powder and Bahera powder. Now take about 2 tsps of the powder and boil it along with 500 ml of water till it reduces to about 300 ml. Drink about 100 ml of this decoction 2 times (morning and evening). This remedy will give good relief from indigestion.
