How to use :  

Use pruners or scissors to take cuttings. For most plants, a 4-6 inch stem cuttings from the current year’s growth is most common. For woody cuttings, wound by making a 3/4 inch notch at the cut end.

Then take your plant cutting and dip the cut end into the water.
