HC-05 is a versatile Bluetooth module with functionality of both Master and Slave. It can be used with Arduino and other micro-controllers to enable wireless capability to the project. The performance parameters of the module can be changed using the AT command mode which can be entered easily by keep pressing the button on the module and releasing it after powering up the module. The onboard LED will blink at the rate of 2 sec to indicate that module entered in AT command mode. It is the most famous bluetooth module since it is very easy to work with. Also there is great amount of information and tutorial on the internet to use this module and changing its setting using AT commands. It can also be used to wirelessly upload your code to the arduino without using any cable from computer to the arduino.
