How to use the PGD Puttu Maker to make Puttu? Once the water is boiling, fill the Puttu Kudam pot Steamer (1.5 litres) with the puttu incridiance and place the Puttu Making Vessel (kuzhal cylindrical tube) on the Puttu Kudam pot using streamer plate. Allow to steam for 5 minutes or until steam escapes from the Puttu Making Vessel's top holes (cylindrical tube).Remove the Puttu Making Vessel from the pot and set aside for 2 minutes, using the plastic handle to position and keep it in place. Carefully open it and drive the puttu out the back with a metal handle. a classic steamed rice cake recipe from Kerala's or South India's rich cuisine. It's usually served for breakfast with kadala stew or a choice of coconut chutney. The recipe is easy to follow and mostly consists of puttu flour or rice flour and grated coconut.
