Take at least 4-7 inches of cutting from a soft and green stem with few nodes from a healthy plant, right before the growing season, which is monsoon in India.
Take off the lower leaves and dip the end in a rooting hormone.
Plant the cutting in a pot filled with a potting mix.
The cuttings will form roots in 10-15 days. Once the cutting is established and develops sets of leaves, you can transfer it to the garden.
