Black Plum (Syzygium cumini) commonly known as Malabar plum, Java plum, jamun, jambul, or jambolan, is an evergreen tropical tree in the flowering plant family Myrtaceae, and favored for its fruit, timber, and ornamental value. Black Plum is highly rich in flavonoids and dietary fiber, which is very good. The juicy, sweet, slightly tangy fruit has a distinct taste and is loaded with multitude of benefits. They tend to grow best when they are planted in average, moist and well-drained soil, will tolerate sandy soil, loamy soil, clay soil and moist soil. Now open the seed packet on a white sheet of paper as while opening the seeds might fall, which are not visible to naked eyes. After preparing the soil, insert the seeds into the prepared to half (0.5) inch of depth.
