Palm Jaggery Nutritional Value: Palm jaggery is rich in vitamins and minerals and especially it is rich in vitamin B, magnesium, potassium, iron, phosphorus, zinc and calcium. How is Palm Jaggery Made? If you get to know how palm jaggery is made, you will be amazed how simple and close to nature it is. To make palm jaggery, first a earthen pot is coated with slaked lime and then the sap is collected from the palm tree by cutting the tender most part and hanging the earthen pot to collect the sap fully.
