The scientific name of Arjun is Terminalia Arjuna and it belongs to the family of Combretaceae. Terminalia Arjuna is one of the sacred tree of India. It is an evergreen tree with yellow flowers and conical leaves.The leaves are dull green from above and pale brown beneath. The height of the Arjuna tree reaches upto 60 -85 feet. PRETREATMENT OF THE SEEDS : Soak the seeds in cool water for 48 hours. NURSERY TECHNIQUE : The pretreated seeds are put intp polythene bags with half of the seeds above the soil. The germination of the seeds in 8 to 12 days.
