Pushtimarga' was given by the 16th-Centuri saint and philosopher Shri Vallabhacharya. Shri Vallabhacharya was a prominent figure in the Bhakti movement in Northh India. 'Pushtimarga' emphasizes devotion and surrender to the Lord (Krishna) as the means to attain salvation. Vallabhacharya named him as Gopala and the place of his worship as 'Gopalpur'. Later, Vitthal Nathji named the deity as Shrinathji. Yamuna is the daughter of Surya, the sun god, and his wife Saranyu. She is the twin sister of Yama, the god of death, and is also known as Yami. Shri Vallabhacharyaji is also known as shri Mahaprabhuji. Apart from Shrimad Bhagvat path as a daily routine h also conducted discourse on shrimad Bhagvat at different places.
