Technical Specifications :  

This soil moisture sensor offers adjustable sensitivity via a potentiometer and operates on a voltage range of 3.3V to 5V. It features a dual output mode, providing both a simple digital output (0 or 1) and a more precise analog output. For easy installation, the sensor includes a fixed bolt hole. The compact PCB measures 3cm by 1.6cm. The sensor is equipped with a power indicator (red LED) and a digital switching output indicator (green LED), and utilizes the LM393 comparator chip for enhanced stability.

Interface and Functionality :  

The interface consists of four wires : VCC (3.3V-5V), GND (Ground), DO (Digital Output), and AO (Analog Output). The threshold value for moisture detection can be adjusted using the on-board potentiometer. When the soil humidity exceeds the set threshold, the DO port outputs a high signal. For more granular moisture level readings, the analog output (AO) can be used in conjunction with an AD converter.
