Premium quality marble dust (powder) for Arts & Crafts. Powdered marble dust can be used to make acrylic modeling paste glue base gesso and all water and oil dispersed paints. It is made from ph neutral basic calcium carbonate dust used in painting. The most common use for marble dust in painting is creating traditional rabbit skin glue gesso, a surface primer for paintings. The increasing percentage of marble dust with soil increases the plasticity index and reduces the swelling properties of soil. This is very helpful to control volume changes in soil due to clayey particles.
