Rajma Red used to be traditionally grown by farmers in Uttarakhand with minimal use of chemicals mostly for their own consumption. TERI is facilitating farmers to preserve these traditional landraces. Hence, we offer red seeded rajma, with intent to assist local farmers to get better returns for local produce. This variety requires minimum soaking time prior to cooking. Rajma red has a better texture and taste than Rajma Chitra. Enjoy this healthy and tasty bean with your creative recipe.
