*** Draupadi and Sudeshna (1896) : This artpiece depicts the characters from Mahabharat.Draupadi was the queen of Pandavas. Queen Sudeshna, the wife of King Virata of Matsya, tries to convince her lady in waiting Sairendri (who is Draupadi in disguise) to accept her brother Keechaka’s proposal as he madly desires her. She asks sairandhri to go in keechaka's chamber along with a flask of wine.
